Will's graduation and all of his loot.

As you can see we hit the ground running here in Idaho. Will was only here for two weeks and we had lots of family fly in for the wedding so that kept us busy. It was a beautiful wedding but I'm not going to lie.....so glad it's over.
Will left yesterday morning for El Paso to get our things out of storage and head for Ft Benning GA. Just talked to him and he is not too far from Houston. Texas never ends when you're driving through it. He will start Airborne school next week and then Pathfinder school. The girls and I will meet up with him mid-May to head to Ft Campbell KY. Can't wait for that.
The girls have plenty of adjustments since we have no home, but it is nice to be staying with my parents and they are doing well.
I did have a dr's appointment but I really didn't find out too much. Besides my due date is October 18th. I am hoping for an ultrasound in a few weeks. We have all been sick since we got here, so can't wait till that lets up.
My hope is that I can keep on top of the blog since things have settled down a bit.

Graduation...now we're back home

Hey everyone,

I graduated on Tuesday. It was a good course in the sense that I did learn a lot about Air Defense Artillery and I spent a good amount of time with my family. :) The Lord was good to me during this course and I was somehow able to graduate as the Distinguished Honor Graduate (1st in my class), the Iron Leader (highest physical fitness score), the Communications Award winner, and the Lightweight combatives champion...our class did very well as a group so it made it more enjoyable to go through it with them.

We had a very good trip to Idaho and now are staying with my family (the Thornfeldt's) in Fruitland and we are all SOOOO happy to be home.

Kierra and Brookelynn have been able to see all their Grandparents and they love being with all of them (although I think the Grandparents love it more)

Danae is super happy to be in a house that feels like a home and she has been able to visit some of her friends. She goes to the Dr. on Monday so hopefully we will know a little more then.

Just wanted to let you all know that we were safe and enjoying the colder weather here in Idaho...not quite the 70-80 degree winter El Paso gave us, but at least its not snowing!

Love you guys.

Explosion or Packing??

This is what I have been doing all week. It's a nightmare being our 4th move in a year. When we get to Ft Campbell it'll complete us with 5 moves in a year. Ewwww.....I'm ready to call any place home:). We will move to a hotel for a few days before flying to Idaho next week. Kids are excited to move on to the next phase of our journey. I'll post more later.

Clinch Drill

Today I got level 1 certified in Modern Army Combatives. The culminating event is what is known as the clinch drill. This consists of you getting into a ring with a puncher (who is wearing boxing gloves) and you have to close the distance between you and him and achieve one of four clinch techniques. You have to do this four different times, and the drill only stops when you achieve the clinch. Thankfully, only a few people got injured although several got their bells rung.

I'm glad its over...now we only have a combatives tourney tomorrow, graduation rehearsal on Monday, and graduation on Tuesday.

I can't wait to see you guys in Idaho.

Love,
Will

Fun night of worship

Last night (Tuesday) Danae and I went to see Chris Tomlin in concert. It was an AWESOME night of worship! There were several thousand people all pouring our hearts out in praise to our awesome God.

I also found one area/position I could serve on in a praise team...the guy who runs out and switches guitars for head performer...that could be me! j/k :)

Anyways, thank you to those who respond to us on our blog...I do check it regularly to see what people say. :)

Love you guys.

2 Weeks to Go

Today is a happy and sad day. Our friend Shirley and her two girls, Melody and Gracie, are going back to their home in Little Rock, AR. Her husband, Jason, has less than a month left to finish up the project of building the border fence and then he will join them. It was really cute watching the girls say goodbye to each other. Kierra even gave away her two favorite stuffed animals to them as a parting gift. She said, "God wants us to share our toys with our friends..." Too cute! That's my girl!

Anyways, we are close to leaving too. I have my final written exam tomorrow...and then we have a final air battle (simulation exercise) later this week. I am finishing up the events required to earn the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. We have the high jump and a sprint event on Tuesday. I am the Officer In Charge (OIC) of it so I have a few people who have to make up events throughout the rest of the week...but that will be nice to finish that up. We also are getting level 1 certified in combatives which we have a week and a half left of. The final event is called "the clinch drill" where we get in the ring with someone with boxing gloves on, and they hit us until we can achieve a move called "the clinch." That is next Thursday...it should be fun.

Now the tedius details of clearing the installation and packing up all that we brought come into play. Danae has been a little sick this past week so it has been hard for her to get started on everything. Kierra is doing great in school and she is even saying some spanish prayers now! I'm proud of both my girls for how quickly they learn things and how great their attitudes have been despite moving around across the country. We are all just very thankful to be together as a family.

Little Brookie did a face plant yesterday and cut up her lip a bit. She is doing well, but there was a lot of blood for such a little cut! She was tough about it though... :)

For those of you at home, thought you might want to know that I will be preaching at our church, Central Valley, on March 22nd. For those of you across the world, I'll try to snag a copy of one of the sermons and post it to the blog. :) (Some have asked for it in the past...)

Can't wait to get back to cold Idaho...

Love,
Will

What are we up to.....

Sorry I have not written in a while. I got into facebook and have been totally into that. But I am back to blogging too. We are down to 3 weeks left here in El Paso and we are ready for our time to be up. I think no more than Will though. He has 3 tests left and he has held the number one position in the class. We are very proud of him as he has worked very hard. He also just completed a 18.75 mile ruck march. Most of which he ran. I think he is slightly insane, and I am sure there are a few of you that may agree :).

Brookelynn had some more tests done this last week to figure out why she is vomiting so randomly. This is on going now for over a year. I think we have run just about every test possible on the GI tract, and I think we are coming back around again. We will get the results this coming up Friday.

Kierra is loving school and I even catch her speaking Spanish here around the house. I have no idea what she is saying, but she seems to be picking it up fairly quickly.

As you have probably read, I am pregnant again. We are very excited. I am not going to have any prenatal care here in TX. I will just wait till we return to Idaho to start care there. It's not like they do all that much at appointments anyways beside have you pee in a cup and tell you that you're gaining way too much weight. I can surely wait for that:)

We have a special request to ask of you. Our friend Tim Beck was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins disease which is cancer. He is headed to Seattle this week for further treatment and to see what can be done. We graduated high school with him.

We hope you are all doing well. We miss you all.
Resting in Him
