Great News!

In case you haven't heard yet...Danae is pregnant with our 3rd child. We don't know a ton of info on the child...we think Danae is a little over 4 weeks along, but we won't know much more until we get to Idaho in March. Everyone is very excited for the new addition to the Andrews household. Especially Kierra. She is convinced that she is getting the little brother that she has been praying for. Brookelynn is also excited to be a big sister.

I hope you all have a good Valentine's day.

Love,
Will

Enjoying the Sun in El Paso

Hey everyone,

With all the recent storms that have hit the U.S. it has made us very thankful for the great weather we have had since we've been here. Cold here is in the mornings (the only time it is ever below 30 degrees) the normal temp is around 50-60 and that was in January!!! We had a week of 70's too!

Anyways, now that you are all mad at us for enjoying the warm weather while most of you are looking at snow...on to what's going on.

Brookelynn and Kierra are continuing to grow and learn. It is so much fun to watch them...I love being a dad. :) Danae has been busy taking care of us and has even found time to meet some new people and start a facebook...hence the reason we haven't been blogging as much. :)

I'm still in Patriot phase which is not nearly as bad as people made it out to be. It is boring at times (what technical school isn't) and its not the weapon system I will be using...but its not all that bad. I am just thankful to come home every night to my girls. We took our final Physical Fitness test which means that is another box checked off for graduation. We are all looking forward to going back to Idaho for a little bit and being at Sage's wedding.

We will be home March 11th and then I will leave on the 29th of March. Danae and the girls will be in Idaho til about the middle of May. I have six weeks of training in Ft. Benning, GA (jumping out of airplanes and learning how to set up landing zones) and then eventually we will be in Ft. Cambpell, KY.

Sorry there are not any pictures in this post...I'll try to get Danae to post some soon.

We love and miss you guys.

Our weekend......

Since Sage and Kristen came down for the weekend, we decided to go to Carlsbad and check out the caves. It was cool, but maybe not worth the drive with the girls. Lol. But it is a little nerve racking knowing you are 750 feet below the earth.

It was great getting to know Kristen and and see how excited they are to be married. The girls love their uncles and just fell in love with "aunt" Kristen.

We also went bowling, and hiking. We had to take advantage and enjoy our 70 degree weather.

Please pray for Will as we have some changes coming up that will effect his career. Pray that God would lead us to where He wants us.

We love and miss you all!
Danae

Look Who's 2

Sage and his soon to be bride, Kristen, came down to visit us for the long weekend and we got to celebrate Brookelynn's 2nd birthday. We went to Chuck e Cheeses. We took our friends that we met here in El Paso and they have two little girls Melody and Gracie. Also a gal from Will's school came, Lily. The kiddos had a great time. Thank you to everyone who sent Brookelynn a card and called to wish her a happy birthday. She totally loved all the attention!!!! In fact, she is walking around the house singing happy birthday to herself.....still. She calls herself Brookie.

PATRIOT Phase

This week was the first week in PATRIOT phase (the second phase) of our course. The PATRIOT weapon system is the main weapon in Air Defense and it is extremely complex and technical. This week alone we were introduced to over 100 new acronyms and terms...all of which we have to know. :)

It is a little hard for me to be too interested in this phase because I am not going to a PATRIOT unit; I am going to a unit that really does some Air Defense, but mostly other combat arms type of missions. The weapon at my unit is one that is new and defends forward bases from rockets, artillery and mortars. Unfortunately, I will get zero training on that weapon system before I get to my unit...oh well. :)

This week has been very busy as my brother Zebb and his fiance, Celia, were here for a few days...and adjusting to everyone being back in school and getting back into our routine. Kierra and Brookelynn are doing great and learning more and more every day. Brookie will turn two next week, and my younger brother Sage and his fiance, Kristen, are coming to visit us this Thursday. We are very thankful and blessed to have had my brothers come visit us so much while I am here. We all miss family, and are all looking forward to coming home in March. :)

I pray that all is well with you and I would ask that you all remember to pray for America as several people have lost jobs and are struggling financially. God is our provider and He will see us through. We just need to remain faithful and remember Who provides for our needs.

love and miss you guys.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone.

We had a great time last night as we had a couple from our apartment complex (who have two girls the same age as ours) over and a friend from my class. We played games and ate food while the girls watched movies, played with princesses and terrorized each other. It was a lot of fun.

I have basically had these last two weeks off as we have been on a "Holiday Schedule" and have been able to spend a ton of time with my girls.

Tomorrow I get to take Danae out for her B-day (she was sick on Sunday) and our friends are watching the girls for us. It will be fun to go on a date...as we don't get do that very often now that we don't have a ton of Grandparents and friends around to watch the girls. :)

Today we went on a hike on the nearby mountain range and Kierra is becoming quite the climber. Brookie obviously didn't get enough sleep last night as she was out before 11:00 and didn't wake up til after 2:00 p.m.

We all seem to be getting healthy...just in time to start back up with school again. Next week I will begin the PATRIOT phase of my training where we will familiarize ourselves with the primary weapon in Air Defense. This school will be over on the 10th of March...which will be a welcomed date as we are going to head back to Idaho on the 16th of March for my brother Sage's wedding. Kierra and Brookie are the flower girls for the wedding and we were able to get them some really cute dresses for a great deal last weekend.

Anyways, we are all doing great and looking forward to eventually getting settled somewhere for more than a few months! :)

Love and miss you guys.
